Clan in NZ
With the change in Chieftainship, interest grew in forming a Clan Society in New Zealand. A group of supporters in Auckland had discussions and with the assistance of the Clan Davidson Associations in Australia and the UK, the Clan Davidson Society in New Zealand was formed in December 1998 and became an Incorporated Society in 2001.
The Society …
● Encourages and maintains interest in the Clan worldwide
● Preserves and promotes the traditions and history of the Clan and things Scottish
● Fosters a spirit of Clanship
● Represents the Clan at Highland Games and Scottish gatherings wherever possible.
